Technical Publications

As an innovator, DEW was one of the first companies in North America to receive its ISO 9001:2000 accreditation for the development and publishing of electronic Technical Publications. DEW has in-house authors, illustrators, editors, translators and publishers.

The Publications group is focused on the reuse of data. All authoring is electronically tagged, and all illustrations come from the approved single 3D model. DEW has the capability to meet ATA100, CALS, or S1000D specifications, as well as prescribed customer format requirements.

Publications are available as paper copy, CD ROM, or web-based. DEW also has an IETM capability.

DEW has produced manuals in English, French and Arabic and by using outside and trusted contractors can produce manuals in other languages as well.
