This new DND program is designed to replace the existing 25-year-old Military Logistics Vehicle Wheeled (MLVW) fleet. To that end, DEW is actively working to develop solutions for the Specially Equipped Vehicle shelter, the Militarized Commercial Off-The-Shelf (MILCOTS) fleet and the Standard Military Pattern (SMP) fleet. DEW is closely monitoring the DND MSVS program and will be a significant player in all three MSVS sub-programs.
